Spleen and physical body: Fascia and containment

How does the fascia relate to the Spleen?

🧬 The Physical Body: Fascia and Containment

Anatomically, the Spleen’s influence can be understood through the fascia and soft tissues—the connective matrix that holds the body together.

The fascia form a continuous network, supporting structure, movement, and containment. When this network is relaxed and unobstructed, the body moves with ease and fluidity. When restricted, both physical movement and internal processes are impaired.

Modern bodywork increasingly recognises how emotional states are reflected in fascial tension. When the Spleen is strong, we feel supported from within—comfortable, grounded, and at home in our bodies.
